The Spanglish is the language that most Latin American people use, because they know more than everything Spanish and a little of English so with some words that are not used as much in a community is going to be used people don’t care and put it in Spanish, this is very funny because they could just search the word in a dictionary. There are two types of Spanglish, one is when you don’t know the word at all so you just put it in Spanish and continue writing in English and the other is when is a very cultural word and there is no a translation for that word.
For example I am talking of car and I say, the engine has 6 pistones (pistons) and have a consume (consume) of 31 km per galon (gallon). That was the example of a Spanglish sentence, as you see they write all in English and key words in Spanish. Fly is like going to the cielo (sky), you fell the aire (air) in your face and the birds singing in the cielo (sky). This is made a lot in homework’s that its need to be completed to that day, or when you are very tired of thinking and you just put yourself in Spanglish mode.
The last one is when the cultural or the word without translation is used in the paragraph. In lunch we had some Sancocho with a lot of picadillo and we drink some chicha, after that we put a sombrero volteado and we start to sing ranchera songs and San Juan songs. As you see in the paragraph there are words that are in the same language as Spanish.
