Martin Rivas The Country Blues is an acoustic, mainly guitar music genre. That incorporates a very rural gospel, Dixieland jazz, ragtime, and hillbilly style and variations. The blues born in the southern of the United States and it sounds in the streets since the early 20 century. The subgenres are Delta, Blues, Louisiana blues, and Piedmont blues. The audience of this music was primary the college people and they called it “folk blues”. One of the most influent people in that time and in history of blues is Riley B. King, also known as BB king and The King of Blues. BB king was born the 16 of September of 1925, in Mississippi. He still makes concerts and tours, at the age of 89. The importance of blues to me is that blues connect a lot of popular music in one, and with blues you never stop learning because the harmony lessons never end. Blues is a structural music and it has to do with many other kind of music. - Fusion. (n.d.).
